Lilly Endowment awards Minnetrista Museum $5M to boost cultural preservation capacity

Minnetrista Museum & Gardens in Muncie, Indiana, has announced a three-year, $5 million grant from the Lilly Endowment to strengthen the museum’s programs and organizational capacity. The funding will help upgrade facilities, expand access to collections, and enhance visitor experiences through projects including fire suppression systems for archives, completion of  the Bob Ross Traveling Exhibition, accessibility improvements to the 40-acre Oakhurst Gardens, and restoration of its historic Colonnade.
