The F. M. Kirby Foundation has announced $8.36 million in grants and multiyear commitments to 106 nonprofits supporting arts and culture, education, health, human services, the environment, and civic engagement. The funding includes $4.1 million for organizations in New Jersey and North Carolina and more than $4.3 million for nonprofits in Connecticut, New York, Pennsylvania, and Washington, D.C.. Sixty-two grants provide general operating support, while 71 support longtime partners. The portfolio also expands investments in America250 initiatives, local news, and includes the $150,000 2026 Kirby Prize to Chancen International through the Duke University Fuqua School of Business.
