Active Minds receives unrestricted $20M from MacKenzie Scott for youth mental health 

MacKenzie Scott has awarded $20 million to Active Minds to expand youth mental health initiatives amid rising rates of anxiety, depression, and suicidal thoughts among U.S. adolescents. The largest award in Active Minds’ 25-year history, will fund its multi-year strategy to strengthen national infrastructure supporting youth mental health, bolster youth leadership, and expand its high school and college advocacy programs. The unrestricted funding gives the organization flexibility to invest where needs are greatest, accelerating long-term efforts to reshape mental health support and advocacy for young people nationwide.
