Rockefeller survey finds broad support for foreign aid one year after shuttering of USAID

The Rockefeller Foundation, in collaboration with Echelon Insights, has released a benchmark nationwide survey examining U.S. attitudes toward foreign aid one year after the closure of USAID. The survey of more than 2,000 U.S. voters found that 54% view foreign aid favorably, while 81% support reforming and strengthening aid programs rather than eliminating them. Notably, support rose to 70% after respondents received more information about specific programs with a strong 90% bipartisan backing for humanitarian relief, disease prevention, and global health initiatives.
