Yale launches $4.8M fund to boost community well-being, economic opportunity, arts across New Haven

Yale University has launched the Yale and New Haven Community Fund, committing $4.8 million over three years to local nonprofits. The initiative will award funding for projects focused on arts and culture, neighborhood strength, economic opportunity, youth development, and health and wellness and will include support for grassroots organizations addressing community needs. The fund follows Yale’s expanded seven-year $230 million commitment to the New Haven region.
