Cape Cod Community College has received a $20M bequest from the estate of Maureen Wilkens, marking the largest gift in the school’s 65-year history. The estate gift will double the college’s foundation endowment and help expand scholarships, academic and career programs, faculty support, capital projects, and workforce development initiatives across the region. The award will significantly increase education access and economic opportunity, particularly for economically disadvantaged students and families. Wilkens and her late husband, Frank, previously contributed more than $11 million to the college.
