Save the Children, CIFF, partners commit $500M targeting child malnutrition in global crisis zones

A coalition of funders has announced a $500 million commitment to expand global nutrition services for children in humanitarian crisis zones. The One Childhood, One Chance Alliance–led by Save the Children, Children’s Investment Fund Foundation (CIFF), UNICEF, Action Against Hunger, ALIMA, and the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives–aims to reach at least five million children across Africa, Asia, and the Middle East. The collaborative funding initiative will support malnutrition prevention and treatment while integrating services such as immunization, malaria care, and water and sanitation programs. Partners will use the committed funds as a catalyst to mobilize an additional $1 billion for humanitarian nutrition efforts worldwide.
