Pershing Square names 2026 ovarian cancer research Lotus Award recipients

The Pershing Square Foundation in New York City has announced its 2026 Lotus Awards committing $6 million to support eight scientists advancing innovative high-impact ovarian cancer research across the United States. The funding initiative aims to accelerate breakthroughs in early detection, immunotherapy, precision medicine, genomics and tumor biology for one of the deadliest and most underfunded cancers affecting women. Recipients include Swarnali Acharyya and Tal Danino (both at Columbia University); Jose Conejo-Garcia (Duke University School of Medicine); Richard Gregory (UMass Chan Medical School); Dan Landau (Weill Cornell Medicine); Ernst Lengyel (University of Chicago); Scott Lowe (Sloan Kettering Institute for Cancer Research); and Ie-Ming Shih (Johns Hopkins University).
