Mat-Su Health Foundation awards $4.38M to expand vulnerable youth services in Wasilla, Alaska

The Mat-Su Health Foundation in Wasilla, Alaska, has awarded $4.38 million to MY House in support of its Carson-Cottle Center to expand services for homeless and at-risk youth. The funding supports critical ramp-up costs and infrastructure needed for the 33,000-square-foot facility now under construction, which will include housing, treatment, and workforce development services alongside staffing and operational systems. The center will feature 64 beds, a community café, and job-training opportunities in food service, while providing trauma recovery and prevention-focused support. The center will fill a critical gap in community-based behavioral health services, helping vulnerable youth achieve stability, safety, and long-term independence.
