University of Kansas receives $2.5M pledge to build entrepreneurship hub for student startups

University of Kansas in Lawrence has announced a $2.5 million commitment from alumnus technology entrepreneur Mathew Stava and his wife, Kelly, to support development of a university wide entrepreneurship hub designed to help students connect, create, and launch ventures. The hub facility, breaking ground this spring, will serve students across disciplines to build entrepreneurial skills, collaborate on ideas, and develop startups. The investment bolsters KU’s commitments to expanding hands-on learning and ensuring long-term impact that equip students to turn ideas into viable companies and careers across industries.
