University of Arkansas names its 2026 Honors College fellowship recipients

The University of Arkansas Honors College has announced its 2026 Fellows Class, awarding up to $80,000 in fellowship support to 75 high-achieving students, including 72 from Arkansas. The latest fellowships–a four-year commitment totaling $6 million–are funded through the Walton Family Charitable Support Foundation’s $300 million gift made in 2002, and will cover tuition, fees, books, room and board, and academic expenses. The selected students, chosen from more than 1,000 applicants, will pursue research, study abroad, service learning, and other academic opportunities.
