Clemson University raises $202M to fuel scholarships, research, and athletics

South Carolina’s Clemson University has announced $202.4 million in philanthropic support from 38,120 alumni, parents, faculty, staff, students, and benefactors during its 2026 fiscal year. The gifts will expand scholarships, faculty support, research, student programs, graduate studies and athletics, including 178 new scholarships and fellowships and nine endowed professorships. Major commitments include $16.5 million from Don Quattlebaum to support the Peeler College of Veterinary Medicine and the Bezos Earth Foundation Fund’s $11 million gift for sustainable cotton research.
