Reliance and Gates commit $3M for women’s digital literacy, access, and inclusion across India

The Reliance Foundation and the Gates Foundation have committed a combined  ₹25.84 crore ($3 million) to support six Indian nonprofit organizations through the SheConnects Digital Accelerator: India, to expand digital literacy and access to public services for nearly 1 million women, helping to close the gender digital divide. Recipients include Project Concern International India, M.S. Swaminathan Research Foundation, Myna Mahila Foundation, Digital Empowerment Foundation, ASPIRE and Chaitanya. Besides grant funding, recipients receive technical assistance and evaluation support, and participate in capacity-building boot camps and peer-learning opportunities.
