Children’s Hospital Los Angeles receives ARIA $17.25M for autism research

Children’s Hospital Los Angeles has announced a grant of up to $17.25 million from Aligning Research to Impact Autism, a science grantmaking initiative funded by the Sergey Brin Family Foundation, to accelerate clinical trials and speed the development of new therapeutic options for children. The funding will support CHLA’s participation in ARIA’s international clinical trial network and boost its collaboration with University of California, Los Angeles as a combined research site. The grant will help build trial-ready patient cohorts, expand access to research opportunities and emerging therapies, and generate standardized longitudinal data on autism and related conditions.
