Cincinnati Children’s receives $17.25M from Sergey Brin’s ARIA for autism research push

Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center has announced a $17.25 million award from Aligning Research to Impact Autism, a science grantmaking initiative funded by the Sergey Brin Family Foundation, to support longitudinal autism research and accelerate future therapeutic trials. The five-year funding will incorporate the hospital as part of ARIA’s global precision medicine and clinical trials network. Researchers will track participants over time using genetic testing, blood analysis, and developmental assessments, aiming to improve clinical trial readiness and advance personalized therapies for autistic people.
