The Max M. and Marjorie S. Fisher Foundation has announced commitments totaling $5 million to support nonprofits in Detroit, Michigan, and Palm Beach, Florida. Over five years, the funding will benefit youth development, arts education, food security, and family services through Detroit organizations including Gleaners Community Food Bank, City Year, and Grow Detroit’s Young Talent. Awards in Palm Beach include $500,000 to South Florida’s Tooth Fairy mobile dental program and $250,000 to endow the Children’s Foundation’s kinship caregiver support program.
