The Scharbauer Foundation has announced 20 grants totaling $26.6 million to nonprofits in Midland, Texas, to strengthen education, health care, and human services. The awards include support for Midland College’s Applied Technology Complex and technology resources for Greenwood ISD students and teachers. The grants will back expanded healthcare and wellness programs at Pink the Basin, the Samaritan Center, and the Springboard Center. Additional grants will advance nonprofit capacity-building and community amenities and support housing assistance, family services, senior care, and hardship relief through organizations such as High Sky Children’s Ranch, Permian Basin Habitat for Humanity, and Midland Fair Havens.
