Philadelphia’s Roman Catholic High School receives $10M alumni gift for STEM education

The Roman Catholic High School of Philadelphia has announced a $10 million lead gift from alumnus Daniel M. DiLella to advance construction of a new state-of-the-art science, technology, engineering, and mathematics education center, marking the largest donor commitment in the school’s 136-year history. The grant anchors the school’s “Vision of Promise” expansion initiative, which recently broke ground with total fundraising exceeding $26 million to date. The investment will significantly enhance academic capacity and modernize STEM education opportunities for students.
