Dana-Farber receives $5M to expand screening access, prevention, and early cancer detection research

Dana-Farber Cancer Institute has announced a $5 million award from Larry and Susan Marx to support cancer prevention and early detection research. The commitment establishes a named chair  and fund focused research to improve screening access for high-risk families and advance multi-cancer early detection testing. The gift builds on the Marx family’s three-decade partnership with Dana-Farber aimed at accelerating earlier diagnoses, improving outcomes, and training future leaders in cancer prevention research.
