Wells Fargo commits $2.8M to boost Atlanta small businesses and housing stability efforts

Wells Fargo and its foundation have announced a $2.8 million philanthropic grant to Invest Atlanta and the Community Foundation for Greater Atlanta, with support from United Way of Greater Atlanta, to strengthen small business growth and housing stability. The funding includes $550,000 for Invest Atlanta’s BizLabs program, providing small businesses with expert guidance, growth resources, and storefront activation opportunities tied to increased visibility around the 2026 FIFA World Cup, and $2.25 million for the Community Foundation to address housing affordability, repairs, and title barriers. The investment targets underserved residents, aiming to stabilize neighborhoods, expand economic mobility, and preserve housing access.
