$23M Rubio Butterfield award secures paid internships at the Metropolitan Museum of Art

The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City has announced a $23 million gift from the Rubio Butterfield Foundation to sustain paid internships for undergraduate and graduate students in perpetuity. The award will fund more than 100 interns annually across more than 40 departments, removing financial barriers and expanding equitable access to careers in the arts.
