Gibbs High School in Knox County, Tennessee, has received a $1.2 million gift from musician and alumnus Morgan Wallen to upgrade the school’s baseball field and athletic facilities. The grant will transform the field into a multi-use, state-of-the-art athletic complex while adding softball hitting and pitching facilities. The award strengthens long-term student opportunities and community sports development in rural East Tennessee. Wallen has also funded other Gibbs programs, including its marching band, its core curriculum and basketball tream, as well as Gibbs Youth Sports and the Jefferson City Little League.
