The Cancer Foundation of Santa Barbara, California, has announced a $4.2 million grant to Ridley-Tree Cancer Center to support comprehensive care and patient services. The annual grant funds an array of integrated programs–most offered free to patients–including patient navigation, clinical research, nutrition, genetic counseling, and financial assistance. Since 2017, the ongoing support enables local access to advanced treatment and wraparound care, reducing the need for costly travel outside the region. The investment has helped position the center as a full-service hub, while improving outcomes and quality of life for area cancer patients.
