Michael and Susan Dell award UT Austin $750M for new campus, fusing medicine, AI, and research

University of Texas alumnus Michael Dell, and his wife, Susan, through their foundation have announced a $750 million commitment to UT Austin to support the development of a next-generation academic medical and research ecosystem combining clinical care, AI, and advanced computing. The award funds the UT Dell Medical Center and the broader Dell Campus for Advanced Research, a multiyear capital and programming investment designed to expand patient care capacity, accelerate life sciences innovation, and integrate precision medicine and artificial intelligence into healthcare delivery. The gift also supports scholarships, housing, and computing infrastructure.
