Kansas Wesleyan raises $4.16M for scholarships, expanding aid and reducing student debt

Kansas Wesleyan University in Salina has received more than $4.16 million through its third annual Scholarship Gala, exceeding the total raised in 2025 by $1.5 million in support of student financial aid. The funds will be used to expand need-based scholarships, increase endowed scholarship capacity, and provide ongoing annual aid that reduces student debt and improves access for current and future students. Additional support will strengthen institutional scholarships tied to academic merit, athletics, and specific programs across campus. The funding also enhances long-term affordability strategies, ensuring more students can enroll, persist, and graduate with reduced financial barriers.
