NFWF, partners award  $15.1M to boost soil, water, and wildlife conservation on U.S. farms and ranches

The National Fish and Wildlife Foundation announced $8.7 million in grants through its Conservation Partners Program to support voluntary conservation practices on farms and ranches across eight states. Partnering with USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service, The J.M. Smucker Co., PepsiCo, and General Mills, the grants will generate $6.4 million in matching contributions. The 12 funded projects will help landowners implement practices like cover crops, conservation tillage, grazing management, riparian habitat enhancements, and conservation easements across more than 490,000 acres, improving soil health, water quality, and wildlife habitat while supporting resilient, productive working lands.
