Missouri’s Kansas City Symphony has announced a $1 million gift from the Stanley J. Bushman Charitable Supporting Foundation to support its Masterworks Classical Series. The philanthropic gift provides three years of sponsorship for the symphony’s flagship performance series, which presents 14 concert weekends each season at Helzberg Hall in the Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts. The funding strengthens the Symphony’s ability to deliver world-class orchestral performances while honoring philanthropist Stanley Bushman’s legacy and expanding access to classical music for audiences across the Kansas City region.
