NFWF-led $42M grassland initiative boosts wildlife, regenerative agriculture, and ranching across 26 states

The National Fish and Wildlife Foundation (NFWF) has launched the Grassland Resilience and Conservation Initiative, awarding $32.8 million in initial grants—leveraging nearly $9.1 million in matching funds—for a total impact of $42 million. Supported by McDonald’s USA, USDA NRCS, and key beef and beverage suppliers, the seven-year initiative aims to invest over $200 million to benefit U.S. grasslands, wildlife, and cattle ranchers.
