The Hastings (Nebraska) Family YMCA has announced an anonymous $1M gift to help close its $21.7 million “Building What Matters” capital campaign. Launched in 2020, the campaign funds facility expansions to grow wellness, childcare, and senior services, driving a surge in usage and membership. The anonymous donation completes the capital phase with plans for additional fundraising to raise a long-term endowment of $6M and an operating reserve of $1.5M. The effort positions the YMCA to sustain expanded programming and meet rising community demand with long-term financial stability.
