North Dakota’s Theodore Roosevelt Presidential Library receives $26M from Ken Griffin

The Theodore Roosevelt Presidential Library has received a $26 million gift from Ken Griffin to complete the carbon-neutral library campus in Medora, North Dakota, which opens July 4th. The library’s west wing will be named for the billionaire founder of the Citadel hedge fund. The library preserves and interprets the legacy of leadership, conservation, and public service of the 26th president of the United States while creating a nationally prominent cultural destination in the Badlands region–an area frequented by Roosevelt in the 1880s.
