The Scholarship Foundation of Santa Barbara has announced scholarship commitments totaling $8.46 million to Santa Barbara County, California students for the 2026–27 academic year. The funding pool reflects a 9 percent increase over 2025 driven by stronger donor participation enabling broader expansion of educational access and workforce pathways for students across the region. The funding will support 2,288 students pursuing undergraduate, graduate, and vocational programs, including law and medical studies. The awards were distributed evenly between students in the north and south parts of the county.
