The Community Foundation of West Kentucky has announced a $10 million bequest from the late Fred Paxton, a founding leader of the foundation and his late wife, Peggy. The endowed Paxton Fund will support charitable, educational, and religious organizations across western Kentucky, continuing the couple’s longtime philanthropy focused on scholarships, workforce development, and opportunities for disadvantaged students and underserved residents.
