Lilly Endowment awards 30 grants totaling $40.7M for worldwide faith-based disaster relief efforts

Lilly Endowment has announced $40.7 million in grants to 30 faith-based organizations across the U.S., ranging from $500,000 to $5 million, to bolster disaster relief efforts and strengthen volunteer, staff, and community support. Recipients include World Vision ($5M), Convoy of Hope ($3.5M), Habitat for Humanity International ($3.5M), Islamic Relief USA ($2M), and dozens of other denominations and nonprofit faith organizations. These grants aim to enhance immediate disaster response, build organizational capacity, and help communities live their faith through action, reinforcing Lilly Endowment’s commitment to faith-driven humanitarian work.
