Coastal Georgia receives $4.7M anonymous gift to boost affordable housing, workforce, shelter projects

The Communities of Coastal Georgia Foundation in Brunswick, Georgia, has received an anonymous $4.7 million to advance affordable housing initiatives across Glynn County. A $1 million award to Forward Brunswick will fund completion of its 46-unit development for working families. Other recipients include Under One Roof, for its housing insecurity initiative, and St. Mark’s Episcopal Church for immediate community needs. The award will also help unlock matching funds for broader housing expansion, accelerating efforts to build affordable housing and support vulnerable residents across coastal Georgia.
