New York Life Foundation has announced multiyear commitments totaling $15 million to national nonprofits including Best Buddies (Miami, Florida), Boys & Girls Clubs of America (Atlanta, Georgia), and Girl Scouts of the USA (New York City) to expand youth coaching and mentorship through its Coaching the Future initiative. Over three years the funding will support training and one-on-one advising, youth sports access, and career-readiness programs, aiming to train 25,000 coaches and mentors nationwide. By strengthening on- and off-field guidance and expanding opportunities for youth of all abilities, the initiative seeks to build confidence, leadership skills, and long-term opportunity for young people.
