SUNY Potsdam’s Crane School of Music has received a $2 million gift from Marilyn A. Horner to support scholarships and programs at the school in Potsdam, New York. The gift honors Horner and her late husband, Francis C. Horner, and led to the dedication of the Francis C. and Marilyn A. Horner Rehearsal Room in the recently renovated Crane Complex. The large ensemble space features advanced technology designed to support music performance and education students. Horner’s contribution provides resources for current and future Crane students while creating a lasting legacy for the couple’s commitment to music education.
