Florida’s Lake Worth Playhouse receives $1M anonymous gift for long-term financial stability

Florida’s Lake Worth Playhouse has received a $1 million anonymous gift to strengthen the 73-year-old nonprofit theater’s long-term financial stability. The endowment will provide annual funding to support artistic programming, preserve the century-old Oakley Theatre–the Playhouse’s home since 1975–expand youth education and outreach, and invest in long-term community engagement. The endowment establishes a lasting revenue source designed to complement annual fundraising while helping sustain one of South Florida’s leading community theaters for future generations.
