Communities Foundation of Texas awards $10M for education initiatives across North Texas

Communities Foundation of Texas has announced more than $10 million in grants and scholarships to support education initiatives across North Texas and statewide Texas. The funding includes a $5 million investment in Educate Texas to expand responsible AI adoption in schools and strengthen career pathways for disconnected youth, a $2 million commitment to reduce chronic absenteeism through partners including For Oak Cliff, Communities in Schools of the Dallas Region, and Dallas ISD, plus grants to The Dallas Foundation, Texas 2036, and United to Learn. CFT also awarded more than $2 million in scholarships to 415 students to improve educational access and workforce readiness.
