Washington State’s Fort Vancouver Regional Library system has announced a $6 million gift from the Endeavour Fund to support the new Washougal Community Library. The largest single investment in the library system’s history, brings its boost funding for the new library $10 million–$400,000 short of FVRL’s goal. The new 14,000-square-foot library, expected to open in 2028, will replace a 2,300-square-foot facility and will include expanded children’s and teen spaces, meeting rooms, technology access, collections, and community areas. The $19.4 million project has now secured $19 million through public, state, and private funding.
