Hearst Foundations award $3M for California education, health and community programs

The Hearst Foundations have awarded more than $3 million in grants to 19 California organizations, including Union Station Homeless Services (Pasadena, California), San Francisco-Marin Food Bank (San Francisco, California) and California Pacific Medical Center (San Francisco, California). The grants support workforce development, healthcare, scholarships, food security, literacy, conservation and community services. The funding includes multiyear grants for select programs, strengthening educational opportunity, social services and access to healthcare for communities across the state.
