Levine Family awards $10M to ASU to complete 30,000-square-foot Hillel student center

Arizona State University’s chapter of Hillel in Tempe, Arizona, has received a $10 million gift from the Levine Family Foundation to support construction of a new Jewish student center. The commitment brings total fundraising past the halfway point of the project’s $25 million goal and includes a dollar-for-dollar matching component to encourage additional philanthropy. The planned 30,000-square-foot center will replace the organization’s current 3,700-square-foot space, greatly expanding space for student programming, community gatherings, worship, classrooms, and meeting areas to strengthen Jewish campus life for future generations.
