Cummings Foundation has announced a $35 million grant program supporting 150 nonprofit organizations across greater Boston and eastern Massachusetts. The funding–a $5 million boost from previous annual grantmaking rounds–includes 125 three-year awards of up to $300,000 and 25 10-year commitments up to $1 million across the foundation’s education, healthcare, human services, justice, and environment portfolios to support nonprofits in the Greater Boston region. The multi-year awards aim to strengthen organizational capacity, expand community services, and improve quality of life across the region. Recipients include the Massachusetts Wonderfund ($1 million); CitySprouts ($750,000); Domestic Violence Services Network ($500,000); Early Childhood Alliance of Framingham ($150,000); and Harvard Square Churches Meal Program ($30,000).
