Funders invest $12M with Enduring Planet to back lending pool for climate-focused startups

Enduring Planet has raised $12 million for its second climate fund to expand financing for climate-focused startups and small businesses. The climate-focused lender provides working capital, contract advances, and term loans to startups developing decarbonization and clean-energy solutions. Investors include Blue Haven Initiative, Cisco Foundation, ImpactAssets, DF Impact Capital, and Green Spark Ventures. The fund also received a $500,000 recoverable grant from Realize Impact, backed by the Schmidt Family Foundation, and a credit guarantee from the Community Investment Guarantee Pool. The blended-finance vehicle aims to unlock additional private investment for underserved climate businesses, building on investments $40 million across 70 startups.
