South Muskoka Hospital Foundation has announced a second C$1M ($740,000) donation from local philanthropist Bob Jacob, boosting his lifetime giving to more than C$2.2 ($1.6M) in support of healthcare services in Bracebridge, Ontario. The gifts—both made in the last six months—are designed to improve patient care, medical upgrades, and expand local access. The funding strengthens hospital capacity and long-term sustainability, reinforcing Jacob’s position as the foundation’s largest living donor and accelerating investment in the community’s health services and infrastructure.
