LEGO Foundation, Walton family back A-Street education fund with $675M to scale PK-12 learning

Bentonville, Arkansas-based A-Street, an education-focused investment firm focused on improving PK–12 student outcomes, has secured a $675 million capital raise from the LEGO Foundation and members of the Walton family. Structured as a mix of fund commitments and co-investment capacity, the raise brings A-Street’s total platform to $1 billion. The funding will scale investments in education companies delivering measurable results, deepen portfolio support, and expand proven learning models. The partnership also marks the LEGO Foundation’s first major impact investment collaboration, signaling a major turn toward evidence-based, scalable solutions in K–12 education.
