Fidelity Charitable reports record $18.3B from its DAFs to nonprofits worldwide—up 23% in 2025

Fidelity Charitable reported a record-breaking 2025, with donors recommending $18.3B in grants, a 23% increase year over year. Nearly 395,000 donors used its donor-advised funds to distribute 3 million grants to more than 226,000 nonprofits, reflecting both scale and consistency in giving. Average grant sizes rose and large gifts increased, while over half of funding supported local organizations. Donors also leaned into tax-efficient strategies, contributing non-cash assets like stocks and cryptocurrency. Since its founding, Fidelity Charitable has helped unlock $59.2B in additional funds for charitable causes.
