Gulf Coast CF awards $49M to Southwest Florida nonprofits and community projects

Gulf Coast Community Foundation has awarded more than $49 million in grants and community investments across Southwest Florida during fiscal 2026, with local donors directing more than $40 million and the foundation’s board approving $6.9 million. The funding reached more than 225 organizations and projects addressing hunger, mental health, education, workforce development, environmental protection, arts and family services. Recipients include Resurrection House, All Faiths Food Bank’s DeSoto County Food and Resource Center, and Child Protection Center’s Monda Family Campus of Healing.
