Henry Ford’s Fair Lane Estate in Dearborn, Michigan, is set to reopen in 2027 after a 13-year, $50 million restoration. The effort was supported by Ford Foundation ($10 million), Ford and Lincoln dealers ($3 million), Ford family members, and other private donors. The restoration revives Henry and Clara Ford’s 56-room home, garage, powerhouse, and gardens, preserving historic features while developing the gardens and grounds for free public access.
