Lowe’s has announced a $20 million community investment through its community impact program, including $10 million in grants for 100 nonprofit and community organizations and another $10 million for more than 2,000 associate-led projects nationwide. The grants will fund major renovation projects addressing local needs, from food insecurity and veteran services to accessible playgrounds, shelters and community spaces. Recipients include 5th Squad in Mississippi, Third Creek Elementary in North Carolina, and the F.I.S.H. coalition in Los Angeles. Projects were selected from more than 5,000 nominations. The investment completes Lowe’s five-year, $100 million commitment to revitalizing hometowns.
