United Lutheran Seminary, founded in 1826, has received a $1.97 million Pennsylvania state grant to support a $4 million renovation at its historic Seminary Ridge campus in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. The award from the state’s Redevelopment Assistance Capital Program will cover nearly half the project’s cost, with institutional and private funding covering remaining costs. Renovations will restore the Refectory and upgrade visitor lodging, conference spaces, infrastructure and accessibility. The 52-acre campus, a key Civil War site, attracts three million visitors annually.
